Quano.ZL
Vertical Positioning Stage for ultra-high vacuum and lowest temperatures (>10 mK).
Quano.ZL features a unique L-shaped design that enables closer probe access and reduced mechanical interference compared to conventional vertical stages. Its geometry also allows operation in both upright and inverted configurations, offering greater flexibility in system design and integration.
The lowered mounting platform allows components to sit closer to the sample, resulting in a more compact effective system height. With 2.5 mm of vertical travel in a 15 mm × 15 mm footprint, it is optimized for tightly integrated, space-constrained applications requiring high stability.
Vertical travel range: 2.5 mm
Minimum step size: <30nm
Fine positioning accuracy: <1nm
Maximum load capacity: 20 g (at lowest operating voltage)
Materials: Beryllium copper, sapphire, and PZT ceramics
Lowest mechanical resonance frequency: 3235Hz
Operating temperature: 10mK to 390K
Fully UHV compatible and non-magnetic
All our positioning stages are manufactured for applications under the most extreme conditions of ultra-high vacuum, high magnetic fields, and lowest temperatures much below (10 mK < T< 373 K). Of course, they work equally well under ambient conditions.
Critically, the unique structural design of our positioning stages enables unmatched thermal conductance across the positioning stage as well as a significantly enhanced mechanical stability compared to other commercially available stages.
